As a guideline, suggested tipping amounts are:
In restaurants: 10% of the bill. (Sometimes service is already included in the bill)
For guides and drivers: $2 to $5 per person per day, in US dollars or equivalent in quetzales
For boatmen: $2 per person per day, in US dollars or equivalent in quetzales.
